Language Other Than English (LOTE)
Our specialist teacher provides Years 5 and 6 students with a total of 90 minutes Japanese time per week. Children experience a variety of cultural activities, which enhances their understanding of Japanese culture and language.
It is hoped that by the end of Year 7, children are able to read and write basic Japanese sentences in hiragana.
