Communication between teacher and parents is seen as a positive aspect of effective education. Teachers will communicate with parents as the need arises and obviously do not wait until formal reporting times. Similarly, it is appreciated when parents contact teachers to address concerns or positive perceptions.
Should you wish to see a teacher or the principal, it is vital that you make an appointment, as staff members may not always be immediately available.
Reporting
Oral interview and a written report is the mode for reporting to parents at the end of first semester. The written report is also issued each December with the option for parents and/or teachers to request an interview.
